Our Mission & Vision

At Sinakssin we are committed to collaborating with Indigenous communities and allies to create thoughtful, impactful, and strategic communication.

Our commitment to working alongside Indigenous communities and friends in ways that honour who we are and where we come from is paramount. As Blackfoot people & allies, we are creators, storytellers, and communicators. Our work is guided by the relationships we hold.

We approach communication as a living art. It is of great importance to deliver excellence in our work. Whether through writing, imagery, or design, we aim to reflect the strength, knowledge, and beauty within our communities. Everything we create, like our name, our motivations, and our work comes from a place of intention.

Clients we serve are equipped and empowered to know who they are, express themselves, and achieve equitable status.

Our Brand

The Sinakssin Brand is a reflection of its creation. Inherently Blackfoot, all three members of Sinakssin are Blackfoot Indians or are heavily involved in the communities. The name itself is Blackfoot, centered around the act or art of writing or photographing, creating. It is important that this brand reflects the communication work we do for our communities.

The colours, two palettes reflect our seasons. A warm earth toned palette for summer, the prairies of Blackfoot territory and a cooler scape of icy blues and pine greens, our winter palette.

These are often accents in largely black and white elements.

Corporate Responsibility

Sinakssin Communications invests in programs and services that empower Indigenous people to pursue their dreams and share stories of significance. Through our corporate social responsibility initiatives, we provide resources and platforms for Indigenous voices while creating meaningful spaces for dialogue and attentive listening. By supporting Indigenous storytellers and amplifying their narratives, we aim to contribute to a more inclusive society where diverse perspectives are valued, heard, and celebrated for their power to inspire and create positive change.
